About Us

John Langemeier grew up in the Cincinnati, OH area, and developed a keen interest in racing from the handicapper's viewpoint. In college at the University of Kentucky in the 1970s, John began working with yearlings on the local farms and worked his way into the training operation at Calumet Farm. From there he went on to work on the racetrack to work under such legends as Frank Whitely and Mack Miller. He has trained as private and public trainer, specializing in developing young horses. After a dozen years working on racetracks from New York to Santa Anita, John returned to college to earn a Master's Degree in Genetics. Even while earning his advanced degree, John trained horses locally in the Lexington area, where he continues today.
